Planning for a sixteenth birthday is no joke. Though birthdays happen every year, that friend, daughter, or sister will only celebrate being sixteen years old only once. That is why it is important to make the best out of it by making it special and unforgettable.
Celebrating sixteen years alive, a.k.a. “sweet sixteen” marks a period when a little girl becomes an adult - a woman. Such event should be celebrated because it is one of those birthdays that mark an important phase in life.
Just like in any event, a birthday celebration must be focused on a central theme. It can be anything from an elaborate and elegant celebration to a simple and casual one. The important thing is, both the celebrant and the guests have a great time
There are so many possible themes you can use for that sixteenth birthday you are planning. One of the most common themes is the pastel color theme. The bright and vibrant candy-like colors give “sweetness” to “sweet sixteen”. If you think pastel colors are too bright, you can settle for lighter colors and some darker colors for accents.
Since not all girls like pastel colors, there still a lot of themes you can use. Use your creativity to come up with a unique and fun theme. Base it on the interests, hobbies, or something significant to the celebrant and use it as a theme. If she loves movies, try a her favorite classic movie and make it the theme!
Movies, music, and other hobbies of the celebrant can be used as themes. Choose a favorite hobby and think f ways to make it exciting, fun, and unforgettable. It is just very important that the planning must have enough time. As much as possible, get as much ideas as you can. Just in case one theme is not feasible, you have other backup plans themes.
